I don't generally post videos but this is exceptional. An Irish drag artist's experience of homophobia: powerful, moving and human. A touch of humour as well.
Aside from the message itself, in the era of the 20-second soundbite this is such a great example of rhetoric at its best. The video has apparently gone viral. Good.

This was very touching, and the delivery was done in such a non-offensive way which hopefully has enhanced its reaching even more ears and eyes. I know little about the political environment there RE gay activism. Here, gay activism has finally begun to see significant success in the quest toward equal rights. It has been a long journey, one that is certainly not over. I recently thought what a long way society has come, however, in terms of where the public was during my college days VS where it is now. It is amazing in every sense, but it has been a long, long time arriving. The legality of gay marriage is changing across the country every day. People like "Panti" are so necessary to any movement for change. Good for her!
