It takes being sick, if only for a few days, to remind me how healthy I generally am, and thus how fortunate. I can't remember the last time I was off work due to illness. It hasn't always been like this.
I've had to leave some time-critical job tasks undone, which I'm fretting over. I'll probably go in tomorrow for a couple of hours, just to clear them. In any event it always comes back to doing the next thing, slowly and gently.
Trying to let go. Being open to - praying for would be more accurate - a change in perception.

Poor dear. Take care.
Ah, thanks Z.
Look after you.
The change in perception will come, probably when you least expect it:)
isn't it interesting how our bodies sometimes conspire with our higher selves to achieve exactly what we need? sounds like this break was in order.
hoping you are back in the saddle again soon but moving at a slower pace so you can enjoy every single moment. the photograph, by the way, is stunning!

take good care.
Oh, do get better soon. Good wishes to you.
Perennial cornflower? Lovely. Hope you're doing OK - take care of yourself.

Gorgeous photo - what is it? Just spent time yesterday at a botanical garden (I'm visiting my dad) - will post photos when I'm home.
Hope you're feeling better and getting some rest. It's good to let your body have the energy it needs to take care of itself - even when life and the overactive mind try to interfere!
Thanks everyone for the good wishes.
Jan/Leslee/Sky: The photo is a close-up of a cornflower growing by the side of a busy road.
oh dear - get well soon!
WW: Thanks!
